The tour reported unforgettable sights on Cranes and a short visit to Los Monegros allowed us to add to our list most steppe birds specialities such as Great Bustard, Little Bustard, Black Wheatear and Pin-tailed Sandgrouse!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/elpolitcantaire.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/03\/terra01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-486 aligncenter\" alt=\"terra01\" src=\"http:\/\/elpolitcantaire.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/03\/terra01.jpg?w=627\" width=\"627\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/barcelonabirdingpoint.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/terra01.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/barcelonabirdingpoint.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/terra01-300x88.jpg 300w, https:\/\/barcelonabirdingpoint.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/terra01-768x226.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 627px) 100vw, 627px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first and second we mainly explored the main Gallocanta salty lagoon as well as the farm land around. At winter time this area hosts interesting specialities while huge flocks of Cranes feed on the farm land around. The tour enjoyed mild temperatures that were always over 0\u00bac.<\/p>\n<p>The last day of our tour, after enjoyed the massive flocks of Cranes facing North, we visited some interesting steppe spots in Los Monegros. The main goal was to find both species of Sandgrouses and both species of Bustards living there.
